I’m starting a new thing on my blog where I highlight innovative and cool advertising agencies around Nashville. After all, Music City is known for a lot more than the cowboy lifestyle. There are a ton of great agencies here, big and small that focus on a wide spectrum of specialty and full-service advertising. There is something really funny that everyone that already lives in Nashville will tell you the second you decide you want to start your life here. Everyone I’ve met from Nashville always says “Nashville is perfect because it’s a big city with a small town feel.” You know what? They are absolutely right. People seem to all know each other, they are genuinely friendly, and if you go out of your comfort zone, the food is enough to lull you back in.

So I was doing some searching and I came upon Anderson Design Agency. They are a full service advertising agency, but my favorite thing that they do is illustrations. Their promotional illustrations are especially brilliant. There is something subtly genius about their whimsical drawings and playful use of picture blended with typography.
